In the evening of January 24 at Long Jiang IP, the Provincial Confederation of Labor with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and Tien Giang Industrial Zone Authority organized the program “Celebrate Tet with workers – Celebrate Party, celebrate Dragon Year of 2024”.

With the join of comrades Do Tan Hung – Member of the Standing Committee, Head of the provincial Party Committee’s Mass Mobilization Committee; Nguyen Thanh Dieu – Provincial Party Committee Member, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee; Thai Ngoc Bao Tram – Provincial Party Committee Member, Secretary of the Party Committee of Provincial Agencies and Enterprise Sector; Le Minh Hung – Provincial Party Committee Member, Chairman of the Provincial Labor Confederation; and Representatives of other provincial department, enterprises and nearly 800 workers working in Long Jiang Industrial Park.

At the program, workers enjoyed the musical performances by singers and artists of Tien Giang Provincial Culture Center and by union members and workers, making a colorful program with flavor of Spring and Youth

In order to bring a warm spring to union members and workers, the Provincial Labor Confederation Standing Committee awarded 60 gifts to workers in difficult circumstances in Long Jiang IP, each gift includes cash of VND500,000 and other things. In addition, all workers participating the show were given a gift of necessities by Provincial Labor Federation.

On this occasion, enterprises gave 13.350 gifts with total amount of over VND 4,1 billion; 02 warm house of Trade Union valued VND 100 million, and 115 train tickets valued VND 21,8 million for employees working in the enterprises.

In addition, Provincial Labor Federation also organized a lucky draw with attractive and meaning gifts including 1 special prize, 1 first prize, 2 second prizes, 3 third prizes, 9 consolation prizes, and 8 encouragement prizes such as: motorbike, air conditioner, TV, refrigerator, fan…

This is a practical and effectives activity of the Party Committee and Government of Tien Giang province along with other departments in caring the material and spiritual life of workers so that everyone can enjoy a warm spring.
