On June 26, at the People Great Hall (Beijing capital), on the occasion of attending the WEF Dalian Conference and working in China, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh met General Secretary and President of China Xi Jinping.
At the meeting, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh affirmed that developing a stable, sustainable, and long-term relationship with China is a consistent policy, objective requirement, strategic choice, and priority in the policy of independent, self-control foreign affair, multilateralization, and diversification of Vietnam. Vietnam supports China's development, successfully completing the "Second 100 Years" target, and successfully building special socialism of China.

General Secretary and President Xi Jinping affirmed that China highly values and always considers the relationship with Vietnam as a priority in its overall neighboring foreign policy. He also affirmed supporting for Vietnam to protect national independence and dignity; supporting Vietnam under the leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam to successfully implement the Resolution of the 13th Party Congress, organize successfully the 14th Party Congress and successfully build appropriate socialism with the country’s situation.
