In the spirit merging the administrative of Dong Thap Province, on the afternoon of July 11, 2025, Long Jiang Industrial Park (LJIP) had honor to welcome Mr. Le Quoc Phong – Member of the Party Central Committee and Secretary of the Dong Thap Provincial Party Committee, and Mr. Tran Tri Quang – Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Dong Thap Provincial People's Committee, along with other leaders from the Provincial People's Committee and relevant departments for a visit to Long Jiang Industrial Park.

This visit demonstrates the significant attention and huge support of the provincial leadership toward industrial development, investment attraction, and close collaboration with businesses – key factors that contribute to enhancing competitiveness and promoting sustainable economic growth for the locality.

At the meeting, the provincial leaders conducted a direct inspection of the technical infrastructure, visited several prominent enterprises in the Industrial park, and listened to the reports on the production and business operations presented by Long Jiang Industrial Park Development Co., Ltd., the investor of the industrial park.

Mr. Le Quoc Phong acknowledged and highly appreciated the outstanding achievements of Long Jiang Industrial Park in recent times, particularly its comprehensive investment in technical infrastructure and the effective attraction of secondary enterprises in accordance with the sustainable development orientation.

The provincial leaders hope that Long Jiang Industrial Park will continue to develope strength, intensify investment promotion efforts, and shorten the rate of occupancy within the next two years. At the same time, the IP is expected to further enhance its management capacity in a modern and professional orientation, aiming to become a typical industrial park not only for Dong Thap but also a standout point in the entire Mekong Delta region.

Through the survey of business operations in the IP, the delegation found that enterprises have been actively investing in production, applying advanced and modern processes and technologies to meet both domestic and export market demands. The development achievements of Long Jiang Industrial Park have become a best experience for the new Dong Thap Province in attracting investments — from policy-making and operational management to business support.

Long Jiang Industrial Park Development Co., Ltd. expressed their desire to continue receiving support, guidance, and facilitation from the provincial leadership, creating condition for enterprises in the IP to develop more stably, sustainably, and effectively in the future.

In the spirit of “Companionship and Enabling,” the provincial leadership affirmed their maximum support, directing relevant departments to coordinate in resolving obstacles and improving the investment and production environment, thereby promoting the strong and continued growth of Long Jiang Industrial Park.

Also in the visit, the provincial delegation visited and worked with Want Want Vietnam Co., Ltd. and Viet Nam Advance Tyre Co., Ltd. – two typical enterprises operating efficiently in the IP.

Established in 2007 with a total area of 540 hectares, Long Jiang Industrial Park has attracted 62 investors from both domestic and international markets, including Vietnam, China, Taiwan, Japan, South Korea, Denmark, Malaysia, and others, with a total registered capital exceeding 2 billion USD. The occupancy rate has reached over 85%, with approximately 90% of the infrastructure completed, creating stable employment for more than 30,000 workers and actively contributing to the socio-economic development of Dong Thap Province and the surrounding areas.

The visit and working session of the provincial leaders is a great honor and a significant spiritual encouragement for all the staffs and employees of Long Jiang Industrial Park. It is also motivation for us to continue improving service quality, enhancing the investment environment, accelerating the digitalization and modernization of management systems, and gradually realizing the goal of developing a smart, green, and sustainable IP.
