On April 23rd 2014, Long Jiang Industrial Park Development Co.,Ltd was issued investment certificate no. 53121000179 by Tien Giang People's Committee for establishing investment project of pier to serve Long Jiang with duration 43 years .
The pier will meet the needs of transportation of materials for construction , such as sand , stone , cement , iron , steel ... and all kinds of machinery and equipment for production; serving up and down the goods of enterprises in Long Jiang IP. Investment capital of the project is 60 billion; the scope is 67,863m2 in Tan Lap 1 Commune, Tan Phuoc District, Tien Giang Province, located next to the Long Jiang Industrial Park. Construction of project divided into three stages, is expected until June 2016 can put into operation of stage one. After that, the pier will solve significantly transportation needs in the region, bringing high economic efficiency.
