Tien Giang province ranks at 8/63 position in ICT Index (Information and communication Technology Index of Vietnam). Few past years, Tien Giang invested, improved and synchronized infrastructure of information technology, perfected policy of information technology appliances in  management of Government and serving people, business.

Administrative management and operation software system has run in departments, agencies of province, people’s committee of district and ward. Administrative schedule were posted up and instructed on electronic information port (website: http://motcua.tiengiang.gov.vn), it is convenient for people to apply document and receive result directly or post office.

Mr. Tran Van Dung - Acting of director of information and communication department said that Tien Giang in the future shall continue to instruct people in contact with Government through electronic one-door software online service.  Transaction records with people must be completely digitalized; Using electronic processes to manage records (submit applications and receive receipts for results from the software); prompt settlement, soon return of results to people, businesses.
