“RCEP communicates the message of enhancing integration in region” is emphasized by Minister of Industry and Trade Tran Tuan Anh at the 3rd inter-sessional regional comprehensive economic partnership ministerial meeting among countries on May 22, 2017 in Hanoi. The agreement focuses on reduction of tax (although unlike TPP Agreement as 0) and service liberalization.

Minister Tran Tuan Anh said that the world has witnessed happenings of economic and comemercial, especially the future of TPP Agreement that became difficult to predict. Meanwhile, East Asia continues to be a rapid growth and dynamic economy. Therefore, RCEP Agreement being negotiated which is a large free trading .

RCEP agreement has been negotiated by the parties with a desire to enhance and expand economic integration based on the active cooperation between ASEAN and 6 countries as Australia, China, Korea, India, Japan and New Zealand. In future, RCEP agreement shall facilitate and promote further the flow of goods, services and investment in countries in the region.
