“RCEP communicates the message of enhancing integration in region” is emphasized by Minister of Industry and Trade Tran Tuan Anh at the 3rd inter-sessional regional comprehensive economic partnership ministerial meeting among countries on May 22, 2017 in Hanoi. The agreement focuses on reduction of tax (although unlike TPP Agreement as 0) and service liberalization.

Minister Tran Tuan Anh said that the world has witnessed happenings of economic and comemercial, especially the future of TPP Agreement that became difficult to predict. Meanwhile, East Asia continues to be a rapid growth and dynamic economy. Therefore, RCEP Agreement being negotiated which is a large free trading .

RCEP agreement has been negotiated by the parties with a desire to enhance and expand economic integration based on the active cooperation between ASEAN and 6 countries as Australia, China, Korea, India, Japan and New Zealand. In future, RCEP agreement shall facilitate and promote further the flow of goods, services and investment in countries in the region.

Recently, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc presided online conference with businesses in 2017. Attending the conference there were Deputy Prime Ministers, Presidents of Vietnamese Fatherland Front Central Committee Nguyen Thien Nhan; Leaders of Central Party, economic committee of national assembly; Financial - Budget Committee of national assembly; Ministers of Ministry of Public security, Plan and Investment, Finance, Resource and Environment, Industry and Commerce, Agriculture and Rural development, Science and Technology, Governer of national bank, General inspector of Government, leaders of departments. There were also the presence of 2.000 representatives, of them 1.500 are private enterprises. In Tien Giang, Mr. Nguyen Van Danh - member of Party central committee, provincial party committee secretary; Mr. Le Van Huong - Chairman of People’s Committee of Tien Giang; Mr. Tran Thanh Duc - Deputy Chairman of Tien Giang People’s Committee and other.

At the conference, enterprises mentioned problems such as: policy, overlap and not practical regulations, inconvenient administrative procedure and suggestions for these problems.

In general, Mr. Nguyen Xuan Phuc said that in the future, government shall commit to solve main difficuties such as to build up a fair business environment, to encourage investment, not to create difficuties for enterprises; to  execute law, to reduce cost for enterprises.

In the morning of May 19, 2017, Seminar - Exhibition of Information Technology appliance and development in banking 2017 (Banking Vietnam 2017) with the theme “Digital Technology promotes comprehensive finance in Vietnam” was opened in Ho Chi Minh City by Vietnam national bank and International Data Group.

Digital gradually changes forms of banking service. With a lower cost and a wide coverage, digital banking is replacing the traditional form in the world.

Banking Vietnam 2017 introduced new achievements of digital and digital appliance in banking service, to expand the approach of banking service and to enhance facility for banking service in Vietnam, that bringing banking industry to the international standard closely.

On May 24, 2017, in Hanoi, Mr. Nguyen Duc Loi - Party central member and General director of Vietnam news agency had a meeting with Mr. Thai Danh Chieu - Head of Tan Hoa news agency (China). After the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Duc Loi - General Director of Vietnam news agency and Mr. Thai Danh Chieu - Head of Tan Hoa news agency signed a cooperation agreement between Vietnam and Tan Hoa news agency. This is for strengthening of the cooperation between two news agency. Two sides believe that at the present, news agencies need to adapt to communication information and exchange experience of the operation task to each other.  The agreement strengthens the friendship, understanding and trust between Vietnam and China.
