Recently, from December 24 to December 26, Long Jiang Industrial Park coordinated with the Fire Prevention, Firefighting, and Rescue Police Department of the Dong Thap Provincial Police to organize a training on firefighting and rescue for enterprises operating in Long Jiang Industrial Park.

Participants in the training are staff in charge of fire fighting and rescue of the following companies: Renaissance, Flexispot Smart Home Vietnam, Cousins Industrial Vietnam, Knitpassion, Balala Food, Bestway Vietnam Company, and Long Jiang Company.

Through the training sessions, employees of in Long Jiang Industrial Park were equipped with knowledge related to:

ü  Legal regulations on fire prevention, firefighting, and rescue directly related to the fire safety and rescue conditions of the facility; Responsibilities of individuals in fire prevention, firefighting, and rescue activities; Duties of the forces in fire prevention, firefighting, and rescue activities.

ü  Knowledge and skills in fire prevention, including: causes of fire, causes of fire incidents, and preventive measures; fire prevention in the use of electricity, fire, heat sources, and fire or heat-generating equipment and tools; fire prevention in the production, storage, transportation, and use of flammable and explosive goods; management, storage, and maintenance of fire prevention, firefighting, and rescue equipment; content and methods of fire prevention and firefighting inspections; features, operating procedures, and proper use of fire prevention and firefighting equipment.

ü  In addition, employees were equipped with knowledge and skills in firefighting, including: firefighting measures, strategies, and techniques; practical training in the use of firefighting equipment; rescue and relief measures, tactics, and techniques; and knowledge and skills in evacuation and rescuing casualties

Training of fire fighting

The organization of regular fire prevention, firefighting, and rescue and relief training provides many practical benefits. It helps enhance the awareness and skills of employees, enabling them to clearly understand fire and explosion risks in the workplace, the proper use of firefighting equipment, safe evacuation procedures, and timely response in case of incidents. This creates a force with knowledge and flexible reactions in all situations, not only complying with legal requirements but also contributing to improve safety and operational efficiency for the enterprise, to enhance its ability to respond and reduce risks.

On December 19, Long Jiang Company in coordination with Dong Thap Provincial Department of Industry and Trade and Hoa Phat Environmental Safety Engineering Co., Ltd., organized a chemical incident emergency response drill at Long Jiang Industrial Park Development Co., Ltd. in 2025.

In the drill, Mr. Nguyen Minh Canh, Head of the Industrial Management Division of Dong Thap Industry and Trade Department; Mr. Vo Cong Huy, Deputy General Director of Long Jiang Company with leaders of the operation team, safety officers, and staffs of clean and wastewater treatment plant, and specialized firefighting team of Long Jiang Industrial Park.

At this drill, the forces practiced a situation ‘chlorine gas pipeline leakage at the chlorine house’ of Long Jiang Company, with the following emergency response steps:

Step 1: Incident detection and alarm activation

Step 2: Rescue and initial incident handling

Step 3: Assembly of forces and task assignment

Step 4: Implementation of emergency response

Step 5: Decontamination, treatment at site, and sample collection for analysis

Step 6: Assembly of forces and reporting to company leadership

 “At the drill, the participating forces coordinated smoothly, demonstrating their proficiency in the use of emergency response equipment, chemical incident handling techniques, evacuation skills, and first-aid skills. The drill contributed to preventing and minimizing accidents related to chemical operations, environmental pollution, and damage to the company’s assets, equipment, and machinery.

At the end of the drill, Mr. Nguyen Minh Canh, Head of the Industrial Management Division of Dong Thap Industry and Trade Department, highly praised the sense of responsibility of  the emergency response forces, who actively coordinated with the drill scenario, contributing to the success of the exercise. Long Jiang Company arranged sufficient personnel and equipment to effectively fulfill the planned chemical incident emergency response drill. Members in the team competently performed situational handling skills and proficiently used chemical incident response equipment.

On the morning of December 16, Long Jiang Company, together with a Dong Thap provincial delegation led by Mr. Phan Van Thang, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dong Thap Province, attended the Conference on Agriculutral Cooperation between China (Henan) – Vietnam (Dong Thap) held in Zhengzhou City, Henan Province, China.

At the meeting, representatives of five enterprises from Dong Thap Province exchanged and shared experiences with eight enterprises from Henan Province in the fields of agriculture and machinery and equipment at the meeting room of Chen’s Sun Zhengzhou Fruit and Vegetable Co., Ltd.

During this exchange program, the delegation visited Shuanghui Zhengzhou Food Co., Ltd. and Chen’s Sun Zhengzhou Fruit and Vegetable Trading Co., Ltd. — the largest fruit procurement enterprise in Henan Province. In addition, the delegation visited the command and operations center for China–Europe freight train services in Zhengzhou City.

At the visited sites, the delegation learned about modern meat processing chains with integrated production ecosystems spreading 18 provinces and cities across China; agricultural product supply and processing systems; as well as models for the organization, management and operation of logistic systems.

The representative of Long Jiang Industrial Park has accepted the invitation with the survey delegation to make a survey in China.

This conference was extremely significant, providing valuable practical experience for enterprises in Long Jiang Industrial Park of Dong Thap Province to engage more deeply in the agricultural and food export value chains. At the same time, it helped orient the relevant enterprises in the planning, development, and utilization of transportation and logistics infrastructure, as well as in strengthening trade connectivity in the coming period. In addition, it contributed to further strengthening cooperative relations between Dong Thap Province (Vietnam) and Henan Province (China), enabling products from both sides to penetrate more deeply into each other’s markets and thereby promoting the socio-economic development more and more.

On the morning of December 16, Long Jiang Company, in coordination with Dong Thap Provincial Police and Provincial DrillCommand, organized a large-scale firefighting and rescue & emergency drill mobilize many forces and vehicles in 2025 at Want Want Vietnam Co., Ltd. – Long Jiang Industrial Park.

During the drill, the participating forces coordinated effectively, demonstrating their emergency response abilities and situational handling skills in fire fighting as well as rescue and emergency response operations.

At the drill, Senior Colonel Tran Van Tron, Deputy Director of Provincial Police and Head of the Drill Command, acknowledged and commended the participating forces for their strong sense of responsibility, determination, and professional skills. The participating units and forces demonstrated an extremely high responsibility and effectiveness, meeting the requirements in terms of time, techniques, and tactics. At the same time, Deputy Director of the Provincial Police requested the enterprises strictly comply with legal regulations on fire prevention and firefighting and rescue and emergency response; regularly conduct self-inspections, training and periodic drills; and build strong firefighting forces, adequately equipped with facilities and equipment to ensure timely response in the event of an incident.

The drill at Long Jiang Industrial Park was successfully conducted. This drill was highly practical and meaningful, contributing to the promotion of the role of relevant forces in fire prevention and firefighting and rescue; enhancing awareness and proactive responsibility for fire prevention and firefighting for the enterprises and the people; and proactively preventing and minimizing losses caused by fire and explosions in the industrial park.

On the morning of July 30, 2025, in order to raise awareness of prevention and ensure fire safety in enterprises, the Fire Prevention and Fighting and Rescue Police Department - Dong Thap Provincial Police coordinated with Long Jiang Industrial Park Development Company Limited to organize a propaganda and training session on fire prevention and fighting and rescue for enterprises in Long Jiang Industrial Park.

The program received active participation from many enterprises in the Iindustrial Park, demonstrating a sense of responsibility, proactive prevention and strict compliance with legal regulations on fire prevention and fighting.
At the propaganda session, officers and employees were informed of the important contents of the Law on Fire Prevention and Fighting and Rescue, including 8 chapters and 55 articles, along with documents guiding its implementation. In addition, representatives of authorities also shared the coordination mechanism between enterprises and relevant agencies when incidents occur, helping units improve their capacity to handle situations and ensure effective coordination processes.
The Fire Prevention and Fighting and Rescue Police Department - Dong Thap Provincial Police highly appreciated the spirit of coordination, active and serious participation from enterprises in the industrial park, contributing to creating a safe production environment, proactively preventing and minimizing the risk of fire and explosion.
In the coming time, Long Jiang Industrial Park Development Company Limited will continue to accompany the authorities, maintain regular propaganda and training activities, strongly spread the slogan: "Fire prevention is better than fire fighting", together to build Long Jiang Industrial Park to become a safe, civilized and sustainable industrial park.
