On Nov 27, 2017, Long Jiang organized 10 years anniversary of establishment in Tien Giang Conference Centre. Long Jiang welcomed more than 600 guests. Representatives from Tien Giang Government and departments, authorities including: Mr. Pham Anh Tuan - Vice Chairman of Tien Giang People’s Committee, Mr. Tran Thanh Duc Vice Chairman of Tien Giang Provincial People's Committee, representatives of Provincial Party Committee, Provincial People's Council, Provincial People's Committee and Tien Giang Fatherland Front and heads of local authorities

The Vice chairman also praised Long Jiang Company and the local investors for creating a significant industrial GDP value for the province, solving many jobs, creating import and export value, tax, contributing actively to the development of Tien Giang province. In the afternoon of Nov 12, 2017, at the head office of Party Central, General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong had a discussion with General Secretary and President of China - Mr. Xi Jinping. In the morning of October 10, 2017, Tien Giang People’s Council visited Long Jiang IP on workers’ accommodation situation in IP, industrial cluster and business in Tien Giang.

Attending the meeting, there were Mr. Nguyen Thanh Dieu - Head of Tien Giang People’s Council and Head of Tien Giang Economic & Budget department and Mr. Nguyen Hong Chau - Deputy Head of TIZA and other departments.

Representatives of Long Jiang IP are Mr. Weng Ming Zhao - Chairman; Mr. Tang Zhen Yu - Deputy General Director; Mr. Vo Cong Huy - Deputy General Director and other departments.

The meeting was about the plan of servie area and dormitory for workers in IP as well as development plan in future. The delegation received Long Jiang’s desire to facilitate the living, working and studying for employees and their children. 

At first, Long Jiang Industrial Park proposed 60 ha of residental and service project and received Government’s approval. This is a comprehensive project for the requirements of enterprises in IP including: accommodation for worker, expert, school, hospital, entertainment area... Long Jiang desires to build convienent and spacious houses with low price. Up to now, Long Jiang attracted 37 investors equal to 72% of total leased area (256ha) with total capital of USD1,2 billion. Among them, 32 enterprises are operating that making up 30%. More than 10,000 labors are working in Long Jiang IP. Therefore, Long Jiang IP proposes Tien Giang province to approve soon 60ha project for serving worker’s house. Other departments in Tieng Giang are interested in and support the project. 

OnOctober 18th 2017,Long Jiang Industrial ParkSinomag Technology (Vietnam) Co.,Ltd held a formal groundbreaking ceremony. There were Mr Cao Minh Tam - presence of representatives of enterprises, Mr Pham Anh Tuan – Deputy Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee and agencies in Tien Giang. Sinomag Technology (Vietnam) Co.,Ltd specializes in procductin eternal magnet. Total capital of this project is USD 10 Milllion and area is 3ha.

After operating, Sinomag Technology (Vietnam) Co.,Ltd will contribute to improve the local socio-economic development.

In the afternoon of October 10, 2017, Russian Consulate General - Mr. Popov Alexey Vladimirovich had visited Long Jiang Industrial Park - Tien Giang Province for surveying the investment environment in Tien Giang as well as in Long Jiang.

At the meeting, Mr. Weng Ming Zhao - Chairman of Long Jiang introduced the achievements of ten past years and responded all questions by Mr. Popov Alexey Vladimirovich. Informations were exchanged such as: welfare policy for employee, projects in Long Jiang IP, Long Jiang calls investment for industry with high technology, protect environment...

Mr. Popov Alexey Vladimirovich was appreciated highly the development of Tien Giang in general and Long Jiang IP in particular. Furthermore, he also expressed the practical meaning of visit which promotes strongly the economic relationship between two countries Vietnam - Russia.
